Geography

Intent

The geography curriculum is designed to develop ambitious geographers of the future. Our primary aim is to instil a life-long passion for geography in our children and to develop their curiosity about the world around them.  We aim to expose them to the most influential geographers such as: David Attenborough, Chris Packham and Greta Thunberg and their contributions to our understanding of the world.  We use fieldwork to empower pupils by giving them a context for the development of enquiry skills to enhance their geographical knowledge and understanding. Our curriculum focuses on sustainability in order to develop global citizens who are caring about their world.
