Our pupils are growing up in a world of ever-changing technology. While we feel that the use of technology is a largely positive aspect of modern life, we cannot ignore the risks that can be associated.

Online Safety lessons are taught through both PSHE and computing lessons, however we understand that much of our pupil’s use of the internet will occur at home, away from the school filters.

Below are a list of useful websites, advice and resources that you may find helpful when navigating the world of online safety with your child.

Good Gaming Guide

 This is a link to the ‘good gaming guide’. Although it has tips relating to some older consoles, there is still lots of valuable information to be found. It gives you tips to keep children safe whilst gaming, shows how to set security settings on some consoles and talks about the importance of PEGI ratings.
