Wellbeing During School Closure
How to look after your family's mental health
Introduction to Seesaw - Letter for Parents
As we now know schools are closing across England from Friday 20th March at 3:30pm, we want to ensure our children have as many opportunities to learn from home as possible.
Over the next couple of days, you will receive an email on ParentMail giving you a code to access a learning app called ‘seesaw’.
Seesaw is an app that your child uses in school already. Teachers can post photos, videos and comments to set children work. You will see your child’s work on the screen. Your child can post the work they complete in response through photos and videos. Your child will know how to use this app but here is a video to help explain for parents:
We will do our best to update you with any developments and further work, so please check ParentMail regularly.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support.

Home School Learning Resources - Using Seesaw
Below is a link to some fantastic advice regarding school closures, giving ideas on how we can help our children at home. The link includes videos on what you can do with your child, as well as links to extremely useful websites and ideas of activities that can be completed indoors.
There is also a video explaining how your child can read aloud and record this to share with their teacher on seesaw.
Please don’t pay to watch these videos. The videos that will be useful to parents are at the top of the page and are free. Any videos where a subscription is required are for teachers.
Take a look at these great links and ideas. Remember to post any work or activities that you take part in on seesaw. We can’t wait to see what everyone gets up to!’
