Children in all years are encouraged to read at home for at least ten minutes on a daily basis, which should be recorded in the reading log.

In addition, all children are issued Homework logs from the Spring term in Reception. Logs are A4 plain books and give children the opportunity to show their understanding of a given objective. Children can show their understanding in a creative way – through art work, adding pictures from the internet/ a newspaper or simply by writing their understanding down.

All children are given a week to complete this piece of work. Homework clubs are available in most year groups to support the children in completing their homework.
