Downside take home 2nd bronze medal of the week.

The Year 5 & 6 Indoor athletics team followed in the success of the 3 & 4 team and finished 3rd overall at the Bedfordshire County final competition. It was an amazing performance with every child giving 100% showing the usual Downside, determination, perserverance and skill.

The children have shown such amazing committemen to the team which has included giving up their lunchtimes to practice their event.

We couldn`t be prouder of everything they have acheived, for some of the team they have competed in this event since they were in year 3 and we hope they will continue their athletics journey at high school.
