Welcome to the Year 5 page

Here you will find all the information that will be relevant for children in this year group. This page is designed to be as informative as possible and it is a place to celebrate the wonderful work that takes place in Year 5.

Year 5 marks the beginning of upper Key stage 2, which means that they are nearing the end of their primary school journey! There is so much to look forward to this year: an exciting curriculum and lots of practical learning opportunities. Our aim in Year 5 is to ensure your children become confident, resilient and independent learners.

We endeavour to ensure effective communication between parents and ourselves; working closely with you helps to support your child. After a `brillant` lauch session last week the children enjoyed meeting their tutor, learning what a university is and how it can equip people for future jobs. The group also discussed the purpose of a museum.
